Imagine if you could travel to the Future,
And you saw that the Future was overrated.
That you were infected and never had a cure.
Your Dark side was ill and couldn’t be disinfected.
Close your eyes and see how you were blind in the womb,
Maybe Babies would have been genius if only they ate and not only drink.
Now you’ve realized that the same water you walked on can make babies sink.
Maybe if we sing the cry of the Babies we could be born again,
Maybe not a womb but rather a tomb.
Take a look at the Sky and see if its really up,
Or the clouds are just the Sun’s Shadow
What if the School was made for the Sick
And Teachers were Surgeons working on our brain
Then you will wonder how you joined the train
What if this earth is not meant for the meek
Your are bigger than this, yet smaller than it
The Universe beckons on men to come to the high table and eat
Yet our gaze are on things that the World rejected
If the stars had a choice they will shine under the sun,
But their meant to light up in the night so brightly reflected
I hope we didn’t lose the victory we received.
Author’s insight on the poem.
Sometimes our mind is like a mine.
It is either it explodes, or we find minerals Inside.
So it’s left for me to choose what is mine.
Think above your thoughts, put your mind to test and see the unseen in your mind.
